Even for those of us who don’t live in the States.

Even though I don’t live in the States, I have already added my podcast to Facebook. I just got an email from them to add it, which I did. However, when I looked at where my podcast will be played, I found out that Facebook muted 41 minutes of it. Now I will delete my podcast from that site. I didn’t question why they muted it. I already know why.

Likewise, I have to admit that I was hesitant on putting my show on there because mine is not an interview podcast, but speaking with music. As you see, I go by the name of Midnight Starr on my podcast Music From the Goddess’ Vault. It is a Pagan Music Podcast, which means that I play music from Pagan artists. I wish that Facebook would mention that they will not allow podcast with music already in them. But there was nothing on that.

I wish there is a way that they can accept MP3s or other audio files so that I can just put a sample of my show, just like I do on YouTube. I know that YouTube is apparent on using copyrighted music. Most of the musicians that I have on my show also have their own channel there. Thinking about it now, I know that every rock star has their own Facebook page as well.

So, if you do play any copyrighted music on your podcast, and you want to put that on Facebook, be…
