International Women’s Day on the mountain
Happy International Women’s Day!
Holy Groomers Cypress, what a great job you did all over the mountain. Must have had a full crew last night. I really appreciated cruising down First Sun, Crazy Raven, and Lower Coyote 7 all off of Raven’s Ridge — all because it was smooth sailing.
To be honest, I can’t even name a pick of the day today as everything I skied rocked.
Cypress also had all kinds of great activities today. For the ladies, they had lessons and yoga and eats. For the young ones, I saw jumping competitions going on and slalom racing. So fun.
To celebrate Woman’s Day today, I adopted Abby from England for a while and showed her around the mountain. She had never skied Cypress, and was on her own for a bit while her family was watching her brother freestyling. What a great sport she was! Could not tell she hadn’t boarded very long, as she managed like a pro. I even took her up Sky Chair. Nice to meet you Abby!!
Back at the ranch (Crazy Raven), I grabbed the ladies to honour them this special day too. Thanks for your great service ladies!
