Creamy Herbed Tofu Spread

VEGAN, EASY, HEALTHY

Bursting with flavors of garlic, dill and a hint of heat from Serrano peppers, this whipped, velvety dip will elevate any breakfast or snack spread 😁

Recipe —

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 block of tofu (about 200g), drained
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 Serrano pepper, seeded and chopped
  • A handful dill leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 5 whole peppercorns
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. In a food processor, combine the drained tofu, minced garlic, chopped Serrano pepper, dill leaves, nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar, peppercorns, and a pinch of salt
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt or vinegar if needed
  4. Smear it on your favorite toasted bagel or use it as a snack dip.
