How meditation changed my life in unexpected ways and can do the same for you

No one is more surprised to see me write this than I am. Rewind a year and I laughed at meditation as fuddy-duddy nonsense by woo-woo people.

No one is more delighted to learn I was wrong than I am.

I quickly found that daily meditation changed my life in unexpected ways.

This blog shares the benefits of meditating that we don’t often talk about but should.

1. Better sleep

I typically meditated in the morning, so I was surprised to find my sleep improved.

I used to find it hard to get to sleep — I have a very busy brain and the moment the night-time quiet descends overthinking comes alive like a nocturnal monster. But since I started regular meditation, I can suppress it and fall into a deeper slumber, quicker.
