My weight loss journey continues, slowly but surely.

And I’m writing to diary that as of today, I’ve reached my first major weight loss goal! Which was to get under a certain number on the scale. And I’ve done that. Which is a (literal) weight off my shoulders!

I still have a long way to go — 39 pounds to be exact. But at least I’m over the first hurdle. And it’s (only) taken me 63 days since that fateful visit to the Doctor’s office where I was weighed and my heart sank. It might sound like a lot but it’s actually gone by quickly.

I wanted to track how much weight I’ve lost each week since starting actively eating healthier and moving/exercising more intentionally, which was the week of February 6th. So here’s a timeline of what I’ve lost so far, even though I know the number on the scale isn’t the be all and end all and it’s more important to feel better, which I do, and I’ve noticed my clothes (especially my pants) are a lot looser, which is nice.

Anyway, for my own curiosity, I decided to see how much weight I’ve lost each week, according to what’s been logged on my Fitbit. So here goes.

For the week of:

Feb 6th — 1.3lbs

Feb 13 — 2lbs

Feb 20 — 1.1lbs
