🧘♀️ Introducing Mindful
Mindful was built out of a need. As DeFi natives ourselves, we wanted to learn from our mistakes and calm our degenerate tendencies. So, for the ETHOnline hackathon, we decided to build something we’d actually use.
With Mindful, we hope to enable other crypto traders to invest mindfully, take the emotion out of trading, and actually realize profits instead of riding gains back down to the bottom.

🌸 Create Auto-Rebalancing Portfolios
With Mindful, users can create portfolios (we call them “Chakras”) when they’re feeling mindful, so they can resist the urge to make degenerate, impulsive trades.
We built Mindful on top of Balancer in order to enable auto-rebalancing portfolios, ensuring that degenerate crypto traders take profits when assets are going up, and reinvest when they go back down. Balancer has the added benefit of a large community & liquidity pools, the ability to earn fees, and audited & tested smart contracts, minimizing potential security flaws (however, see the disclaimer above).
🔮 Implement Mindful DCA Strategies
Mindful also incorporates an automated DCA mechanism. Dollar cost averaging has been proven to be the most effective way to maximize gains and minimize losses in volatile markets.
Within each Chakra, users can create a set-and-forget DCA strategy to make sure they never miss a bull run again.
📈 Automatically Take Profits on the Way Up
On top of auto-rebalancing portfolios and DCA strategies, Mindful allows users to set automated parameters for taking profits, to hedge against the whims of their degenerate future selves.
Set your Chakra’s parameters to take a fixed percentage in profit every time your portfolio value increases by a certain amount. Never fail to take profits again.
🕉 Find a Guru
Mindful will also incorporate a social trading aspect. Users can browse the top-performing Chakras created by other users (or “Gurus”) and copy their strategies, guaranteeing maximum gains.
😇 Silence Your Inner Degenerate
As part of our degeneracy-minimizing philosophy, we have decided not to test in production. We’re still busy aligning our chakras, so right now the Mindful app is in the testing and auditing phase.
