Life Is in the Present Moment.
Not in the past, or future. It’s in right now.
Inspired by,
Another term for the future is “ struggle”.
We all have desires; desires drive us. To desire is very human. If you contemplate, your desires seem to be your identity. We live our lives with despair if we are unable to achieve those desires.
We manage to accomplish what we aim for, but if not, we indulge in our future.
But life! Life is neither in the past or in the future; life is in the present moment.
“Experience of the present moment is the experience of life.”
But it’s not like we are unaware of this truth. We all know it, but fail to understand it. This is because we are stuck in our past failures, or experiences, or we are planning for our future over which we have no control.
The decisions we make today is the basis for our future. We take these decisions merely thinking about a blissful future, safety, and security for us and our loved ones.
If you take a peek into your lives, you will know it.
But why wouldn’t we do it.? We all have the right to make a better future.
But have we seen the future.? Our future is unpredictable.
So, what is the way out?
If we firmly hold this truth that we cannot control our future, or change our past; we can only embrace the future with patience and courage, then our lives will be filled with life.
“All the happiness comes from adherence to Dharma.”
Before making any decisions, always ask yourself whether this decision is out of selfishness or Dharma.
Rather than thinking of the future, if we think of following the path of Dharma, our lives will be filled with bliss and peace.
