My Biggest concerns about Mindfulness and how much it is misunderstood or hijacked by the self help brigade.

Mindfulness can be taught from a Buddhist perspective, which is where it all originates anyway or it can be secularised for those who do not like religious connotations.

This is a somewhat spurious division since for many people Buddhism itself is not a religion but a way of living that enables happiness. That is what the Buddha taught, to the best of my knowledge he never said ‘I shall start a new religion’. It was not what he wanted. And if you…
