Pandemic

Pandemic, even the word suggests panic.

Do we fear death so much when life depends on death,
in each and every meal we take, something has died,
all life needs death, co-existance merely ignored.

But we are afraid to cease, afraid to be alone.
Can this ever be? If we join as a human family
there are always those left to befriend us.
