I must say we don’t know what we’re doing when we do it, and that’s why it comes out good. Somewhere between intuition and instinct — and very far from intellectualism, lies true intelligence. The Clash… whatever they did of some achievement, was derived from another part of intelligence that hasn’t been formally recognized yet because you can’t learn it in a university. It’s not intellectual intelligence. It’s instinctive, intuitive intelligence — and it’s far more powerful.
