“The grass is always greener on the other side because from faraway you can’t see the weeds.” ~ John Maeda

It’s human to compare. It’s human to assess progress. It’s good to know where we stand. But humans go beyond that. We judge us, we judge others, certainly not knowing what others going through.

We see the grass, its’ greener shades, not the weeds. That’s a huge problem.

We check facebook pics and think that is their life. Yes, they are the highlights. Poeple do not put dull bits, frustrations, agony or real relationship problems.

It’s easier to day dream when some one driving a luxury vehicle, having a great family life, a good career etc. That’s what we see on the outside. That’s what we hear.

Inside they do millions of things not visible to us, working hard, taking risks we would not dare do. It’s not luck or chance, it is their choice.

What we do is, berate our selves, thinking we are not good enough. We have a choice.

We are good enough. Stop complaining. Change your perception.

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
