MIND Games: A New Beginning on Arbitrum

We are excited to announce that MIND Games is migrating from our old home to the new lands of Arbitrum. This is something that our team has been considering for some time, and the decision has been made in the best interests of the protocol in MIND.

For our pioneers on Aurora, we will ensure that long-time supporters of the protocol will be welcomed to our new home and will be able to receive an airdrop on Arbitrum. Similarly, NFT holders on Aurora will also receive an airdrop of a new, freshly minted Elder on Arbitrum.

We understand that this may be a difficult transition for some, but we assure you that this is a necessary step in order to move forward with the protocol. Right now, we want to deliver the game modes that have been in development for over a year, and in order to do that, we need to have a healthy gene pool for our game’s GEN-0 assets (Elder MINDs NFTs).

In the past year, the MIND Games team has been modified and restructured. Additionally, the MAU (Monthly Active Users) for MIND Games on Aurora has not been great due to various reasons, including the team, market and the Aurora ecosystem. The game modes require feedback for the gameplay in order to ensure a meta and well-balanced gameplay, which was lacking in our old home.

Over the past six months, we have managed to eliminate bugs and balance the Arena gameplay, bringing us closer to the official launch. This mode will bring a new, real reward mode for players where they can bet ETH or other tokens on their 3v3 card matches. The winner takes all, and the protocol keeps a small percentage. The 5v5 card mode will be based on rank, and the top players will receive a percentage of the total bets (3v3 card mode) for a specific month. Additionally, we have a new UI/UX for the new launch that will bring us closer to the final version of MIND Games, the MINDverse vision.

After finishing the sale, we will launch the DEX, which will be closely followed by the Gen-0 Elder MINDS NFTs launch. After the Gen-0 assets are distributed, we will open the NFT Marketplace, breeding, and rentals. Here, we will also deploy our infrastructure to newcomers who want to join our GameFi Hub and allow new projects and teams to use our infrastructure to develop and deploy alternative universes and games. They will be able to list tokens on our DEX and use our NFT Marketplace and breeding Sanctuary in order to create and kickstart their Universes.

There will be a token sale for the new deployment on Arbitrum to ensure a fresh runway for the development team. The funds will be used to kickstart liquidity and conduct an audit of the entire protocol. We want to thank all the people involved in this project until now and we will welcome you with open arms to our new home on Arbitrum.
