How About a Star-Spangled Beagle Instead?

I don’t know why we use a donkey and elephant to symbolize our two main political parties. I’m partial to dogs and would absolutely join a party led by a star-spangled beagle. The Beagle Party would lead this country to peace, prosperity, snacks and naps.

Most Americans of all political persuasions agree that dogs are awesome. That’s it.

That’s the only thing we come together on.

With half of us hating the other half of us, it’s time to reconsider

Many other countries have multiple parties instead of just two. I’m not sure most Americans can clearly define the difference between liberals and conservatives. Or progressives and regressives. Or the left and the right. None of these either-ors are adequate but the U.S. is determined to slice the population into two main parties even though almost none of us fit very well into either of them. So this is what we have to work with.
