The Challenges of a Freelancing Mindset

As a freelancer, I spend a fair amount of time providing proposals and quotes.

Often, after spending an hour or two (or three) working up a quote, I get no reply.

A friend of mine in the corporate world said: “just charge it to G&A.”

I laughed. You mean “Grief and Anxiety.”

Humorous, but is that the right Mindset for Success?

Not really.

The right mindset set is:

I’m quoting the best price for the best work I can provide.

That’s the only thing in my control.

I can’t let things out of my control affect my mindset.

Do the right thing and sleep well.
