MinexPay Report | Week 7: Technological advance
We hope you’re having a great Friday evening, and, if not, don’t worry, we are about to make it better. There are so many exciting news we want to share with you, but, let’s follow the custom and take a quick glance at the numbers first.
Gradual and firm
This week we have observed a 9.1% increase in the number of pre-ordered cards as it grew by 1316 and is now totaling 15256.
Meanwhile, the number of pre-orders for the infinite cards has passed 3000. Too bad there’s only a thousand of them available and all the wishing won’t be able to receive the card.
The relative percentage of the cards remains roughly the same and is hardly worth noting.
Paid cards
Moving on to the paid cards, there are now 977 of them. We’re close to hitting a first thousand! As issues with Facebook ads are still not resolved, the progress of purchases and pre-orders is somehow stammered, which is only to be expected.

Making KYC more convenient
Now that that’s taken care of, let’s proceed to the exciting part. To begin with, we’ve implemented Telegram Passport in MinexPay.
Supporting the technology advancement, Minexcoin becomes an early adopter for this aspiring technology. Now you can choose Telegram Passport as one of the KYC options when confirming your identity at MinexPay.
Top-notch security
All together we, as a crypto community, are a force that brings forth the technology advancement.
If we want to succeed in this task, we must all put our best efforts in spreading the blockchain technology.
And we can all agree that the best way to spread innovation is to apply it.
The current google 2FA adds an additional layer of security, however, it is not infallible. Because user’s safety is a priority for us, Minexcoin is the first crypto project to implement the Hydro Raindrop protocol, a blockchain based 2FA, in its products. We’ll publish a separate article on our partnership, where we’ll go in details on how this technology works and its advantages later. You can expect the implementation of the 2FA Hydro Raindrop into the MinexPay as early as during the next week, though note that it might take a bit longer. It will also be added to web-wallet, and, gradually, to all our products.
Re-inventing our identity
We all love Minex. Team members especially, not even mentioning the founders. “Minex” as in Minexcoin stands for Minimal Expenses. A good name carries the value and represents the core ideas, and, however much we might like the current one, it is simply not the best fit.
In the end, it’s not the name or the logo that defines who we are, but people, YOU and me, who put their time and effort in pursuit of the great idea.
There’s a lot bonding us to a current one, and we have shared with you countless pleasant moments that forged one of the best crypto-communities out there, but we believe it’s time to change and embrace a more impactful name. A name that will carry the weight of our ambitions and values.
And if there’s ever a time to do a full rebrand, that time is NOW.
The rebranding will be carried out by the Artkai design, a UX-focused product development agency with 88 success cases over the last 4 years. The ICO and blockchain projects that used Artkai services has collected over 97 million dollars. Minex is in good hands and in 2 month we will have a completely new identity.
