In our previous blog post, we have introduced new minerstat API, which also includes all important coins’ data. We encourage you to use the API in your applications, software, and other interesting projects and in this blog post, we will show you just one example of how our API data can be used.
We have developed a mining calculator bot for Telegram, Discord, and Slack - the channels that are popular amongst cryptocurrency miners.
What can the bot do?
The bot will tell you the current profitability of a coin or find the most profitable coin in a given algorithm (without low volume coins and multi-pools) on the go. Here are a few examples of usage:
- !ethash 150 mhs
- !btc 80 th
- !eth 5x40 mh
The bot will respond with estimated earnings in a message similar to this:
You might earn ~2.74$ per day mining ~0.01582524 ETH

You can talk with the bot in private or invite it to a group chat or channel to allow other users to ask questions as well. When you create a connection with the bot, type /start
