We’re thrilled to host our first AMA this year featuring our CTO, Paddy Cerri, the mastermind behind the protocol. We will be going live on January 13th at 11:00 UTC on our Discord-Stage. Join us to ask us anything you’ve always wanted to know about Minima.
We will talk about the recent Hard Fork, the P2P network, Maxima, and anything else you’d like us to share more details about during the AMA.
Before and during the AMA, you can post your questions in our #stage-questions channel, and we’ll pick up as many as we can. Even if your question isn’t answered on-stage, we’ll make sure to address it in writing.
Paddy started programming at the age of nine and went down the Bitcoin rabbit hole in the early days of the cryptocurrency. However, he soon got frustrated with the lack of ability for individuals like him to validate and construct the chain.
His node had zero influence on what transactions would be included in blocks.
Only the miners decided that. And that stung. That hurt. That gnawed at the back of my mind.
To ensure this would never happen again, he created Minima.
