New Server/PC Version of Minima — How to update your Node

Dear Minimalists,

We’re excited to share that we’ve updated our Server Version of Minima (Minima.jar) to Version 0.100.30.

With this update, we’re preparing the jar to support future releases of the Minima Android version (Minima.apk).

If you’re running Minima on your phone/an android device, you don’t need to take any further steps.

Linux Users

If you’re running Minima on a Linux Server, please log into your server and update to the newest version by executing the following script:

wget -O minima_setup.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/minima-global/Minima/master/scripts/minima_setup.sh && chmod +x minima_setup.sh && sudo ./minima_setup.sh -r 9002 -p 9001

Once updated, reconnect your node with your IncentiveCash account using the following command:

sudo curl 127.0.0.1:9002/incentivecash%20uid:xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx

Instead of the xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx, please enter the unique IncentiveCash ID that you can find when logging into your IncentiveCash account.

Windows and Mac users

To update, simply type quit into your Minima Terminal, download the latest version of our JAR here and overwrite the existing version. Restart your node as usual, and you’re all set.
