The sign of a great service is one that solves your problems in the simplest possible way and doesn’t make you feel dumb while using it. So far Firebase have fit that perfectly. Of course there are tradeoffs, but so far, worth it.

Firebase is free indefinitely for projects with low traffic which is great to get your site going or to test out a project. It has everything you need for your website and app with very little work. And surprisingly, so far it has been very well documented.
