A Small Hymn

To the tune of Old World Passeridae

no more bombs
return to the sparrow
who we’ve grown distant from
become unarmed
see your face in
your enemy’s face
drop the stone
turn and leave
we have all each been caught
hear the voice
out of the blue
saying neither do I condemn
