New UI released

As some of you might already know, we have been working on an update for the Mission Control website for quite a while now. We are happy to announce that we finally were able to deploy the new interface!

Besides enhancing the overall usability on desktop and mobile, we have also made the following improvements:

• The Mine Maximizer now uses your current tool setup to find the best planet to mine on. It also shows the estimated outcome of your mining attempt per planet.
• It is now possible to mine directly on waxmissioncontrol.io. We made sure to discuss this in detail with the Alien Worlds team before we released this feature, so no one should get flagged for using it. This includes the possibility to include the Mine Maximizer directly into the Mine button.
• The Tool Tactician now includes a “Land Overview” in which you can see the results for the selected tool setup for each land type.
• You can now change your Alien Worlds player tag inside the User Settings. Its also possible to enable or disable receiving CPU from Mission Control there.
• In the Trilium Vault you can now claim your DTAL, Mission Rewards, Weekly Rewards for questing, Mining Rewards and TLM earned by land commissions.

With the new UI, we have much more room for future growth and the implementation of additional features. Our next steps involve to include and improve the Miners Union features like voting, missions and crowdfunding. After all these features are included in Mission Control, we will take the old Miners Union website offline.

Starting in August you will notice that the weekly MC prize pool will slowly grow, as we have switched from a fixed 10,000 TLM to a pool based system. The more regular income MC earns, the bigger the weekly rewards. However, we will also increase the cost to apply for MC membership from 10 TLM to 25 TLM around the same time.
