2017 MLB Mock Draft: End of Season Edition
As Randy Quaid once said in Independence Day, “I’m Baaaaaack!”
It’s been one hell of a summer hiatus for MinorLeagueMadhouse, with real life taking up a lot of time, but fear not, dear readers, today, you will have your first updated content since June.
With the MLB regular season finally over, it’s time to make initial speculations on who will go where in the mock draft. The Twins secured the first overall pick in early September, and with a strong system, they can do no wrong with their pick. Could they take the best player available, or could they pull a Philadelphia and roll the dice on a moldable talent? Well, as Mr. Peanutbutter from Bojack Horseman once said, “Let’s find out!”
As it was last year, the first version of the mock draft will have no explanations, and will just be names and photos. When MLB Pipeline releases their 2017 draft rankings, likely in December, the explanations will be listed. Until then, feel free to speculate.
