2019 MLB Mock Draft: End of Season Edition
Time flies when you’re having fun, or in my case, waiting for the end of the season so that the first mock of the season can be posted. In a year of surprising finishes and an expected descent into total irrelevancy (looking at you, Baltimore), we finally have a clear picture of how the draft order will be, at least until the offseason when qualifying offers further add to the insanity.
With that being said, we are going to focus only on the first round. This year, there are 33 first round picks because of the three unsigned first rounders from the 2018 draft. As usual, the picks are determined based on organizational strengths, and this mock will only be a list mock, with summaries coming in time for the December mock.
*A quick note, this mock order is subject to change based on the tiebreaker games between the Rockies and Dodgers and Brewers and Cardinals. Ideally I won’t have to make any changes, but in the case that I have to, I will make sure to adjust the mock accordingly by October 2nd. The picks affected are the 23rd, 25th, 27th and 28th picks.
