2020 MLB Mock Draft 2.0
And so begins the hibernation period. The Nationals played the ultimate Cinderella story, winning 5 elimination games to defeat arguably the best team in baseball, the Houston Astros in a series where home field advantage was nonexistent. The Nationals get the best of both worlds though as they not only come back to DC with a World Series trophy, but also a higher draft pick for a playoff team. But enough about that.
Welcome to Mock Draft 2.0 for Minor League Madhouse! The order was set last month at the conclusion of the regular season, and now it’s time to change things up. Obviously we won’t get a clearer picture of what teams are going after until about March or May, and MLB Pipeline won’t be releasing their top 50 draft prospects until December, their top 30 by team until about Spring Training, and their top 100 and 200 draft prospects until April and late May respectively, so this is as much of a crapshoot as you can possibly take.
Rules are simple. The draft is based on organizational strengths, though team tendencies will be taken into consideration in case of a tough decision. With that, let’s go.
