Community Update 5/8/22
We are building core utility features frequently requested by our user base. Our goal this week was to improve the usability and accessibility of the website, before creating new features next week.
Transfer an NFT
Gift that epic NFT that you created or bought to your crypto friends!
How:
- Go to the NFT page.
- If you own the NFT, you will see a send, paper plane looking icon in the right hand corner.
3. Click on the icon and you’ll be prompted to enter details of who you want to send the NFT to!
Update Supply
No longer want anyone to purchase the NFT? Want to release your NFTs in stages?
You can now update the available supply of your NFTs to whatever less than your original supply!
How:
- Go to the NFT page.
- If you created the NFT, you can double click on the number above On Sale.
Email Login
Onboarding a non-crypto native community onto a wallet is complex. As a result, we’ve integrated with MagicLink to allow users to sign in with an email and receive a wallet built-in tied to their email address.
How:
- Click on the Login button in the right corner / Sign out and then click on the Login button
- You will see the new option to Email Login with Magic Link
MintGate in the Wild
Last week, our co-founder Jennifer Tran spoke about how to leverage web3 opportunities to launch a career in tech at the Web3Inclusivity Summit. She shared our story using web3 entrepreneurship, resources, and hackathons to learn how to code (properly) and launch MintGate!
