Medium Rare and the Golden State Warriors created an officially licensed digital collection with exclusive NFTs token gated by MintGate.

About the collection
This special collection celebrates the team’s six NBA championships and includes digital collectibles of their most iconic games in franchise history. The collection features the Warriors’ six NBA Championship Rings digitally reproduced as limited-edition collector NFTs. And 10 custom-designed Commemorative Ticket Stub NFTs.
Token gated exclusive NFTs
Fans that complete the full set of all ten Ticket Stub NFTs will unlock an exclusive Warriors Historic Moment NFT Showcase. Fans who completed the full set of all six Championship Rings will unlock an exclusive Warriors Championship Banner NFT. Both of these exclusive NFTs are token gated by MintGate and limited editions that will be produced exclusively for the Golden State Warriors Legacy NFT Collection and will never be reproduced or sold.
Custom integration of Token Gating from MintGate
The Golden State Warriors Legacy NFT Collection is a best practice example for custom integration of token gating into a 3rd party project. The use of a landing page with access buttons, that bring the user to the token gated page, is a simple and effective user flow to ensure only holders of a specific token or in this case, users who hold the whole collection can enter a page while having a fully branded user experience.
What’s next? — The use case of token gated redeemables
There is more to come! We added a method to check if the user has burned his access to a token-protected link for upcoming collaborations. You can use this API when a user who owns a token should only be able to act once. Our new Link Access Burning API that you can call when the user takes a claim, purchase, or enter action on your token gated page allows you to ensure that the action he does on the page happens only once. After the link access has been burned, the user still holds his tokens but he can not access the link again.
This “Link Access Burning API” allows building stores or websites with redeemable exclusives and content. You can build:
- Exclusive Merch Drops with Access Ticket NFTs
- Redeemable NFT Drops when the user completed a collection of other NFTs
- One-time access to your content. For example, to create a Ticket NFT with a gated link to a live concert.
- Any kind of one-time user performance on a token gated page.
