MISBLOC & Dynasty AMA Recap

Check out what happened at our most recent AMA

MISBLOC (Medical Information Service with Blockchain) is a medical service ecosystem, which is based on blockchain technology. MISBLOC offers a sustainable and efficient medical service ecosystem, by providing reliable medical information to patients, medical institutions, and public institutions in the Big Data era.

Welcome back!

On January 19th, MISBLOC held an AMA with the Dynasty Community. The AMA included 5 preliminary questions and 5 questions asked directly by the community. It was a great opportunity for interested parties to get their burning questions answered. Today, we’ve prepared a summary of the AMA for those who weren’t able to join the live AMA session. Please read on for more information!

Moderator: Hello, everyone! Today, we have Kim Dohee, CEO of MISBLOC, here for an AMA.

Please introduce yourself and the project!

CEO Kim Dohee: Hello, Dynasty Community! I’m Kim Dohee, CEO of MISBLOC. I’m very happy to be doing an AMA with so many people in the Dynasty community today. I hope it will be a useful session for those who are here. MISBLOC is a project that provides blockchain-based, medical platform services. We are striving to achieve complete personal ownership of medical data by allowing individuals to not only store their medical data on their own but also to provide medical data to hospitals and public institutions.

Moderator: Thank you for your introducing yourself and your project. I also hope that today’s AMA will be helpful! Now, we will proceed with the pre-question and answer time.

1st part: Moderator Q&A Session

Q1: I’m curious about the origin of the name of your application, ANAPATALK. What do you hope to achieve through the ANAPATALK platform?

CEO Kim Dohee: The name ANAPATALK was inspired by the Korean expression, “an apa,” which means, “no pain.” We usually use it after we’ve recovered from an illness or injury; and the “talk” of KakaoTalk. MISBLOC wants to create a community for users in the ANAPATALK app where they can not only book appointments but also share various information such as reviews of treatments and photos of before and after treatment. As a reward for the information provided by users, we will give points for writing and sharing comments. We think this will contribute to revitalizing the community and help create a virtuous cycle of users sharing quality information with each other.

Currently, medical information is scattered to various institutions, mainly large hospitals. In other words, the present medical records system used by medical institutions is not unified. Therefore, patients must reissue medical records from their previous hospitals whenever they move to a new medical institution. If something goes wrong during the process of requesting documents, patients must either request their documents again or pay extra to get the same test done. To solve this problem, MISBLOC wants to create an environment where patients own and store their own medical records on the MISBLOC system. We want to create an environment where information can be easily and conveniently accessed if necessary. In addition, we’d like to eliminate the exclusive and unequal factors that negatively impact patients in the medical market and instead create an efficient medical ecosystem.

Q2: Community is very important for projects. How do you handle community feedback, requests, and demands when creating a project?

CEO Kim Dohee: The community plays a very important role as a communication channel between the MISBLOC project and its holders. The project quickly delivers news about MISBLOC and road map progress through the community. We also collect various opinions from holders and answer questions through 1:1 chat rooms as well as official chat rooms. As there are many things that we are carefully planning and working on internally, we cannot tell you everything about the holders’ questions, but we always strive to convey the direction of the project with the utmost sincerity.

Q3: What’s the road map going forward? What goals and visions do you wish to pursue?

CEO Kim Dohee: First of all, let’s talk about the 2022 MISBLOC road map. We are planning to release version 2.1 of the ANAPATALK app in the first half of the year. In the first quarter, a large upgrade is scheduled that will include a simple questionnaire writing service, a real-time hospital reservation service, token swap to support Klaytn Mainnet, and ANAPATALK’s in-app wallet service for $MSB tokens. In the second quarter, we are planning to release an upgrade that will allow users to digitize their personal medical information by filling out questionnaires.

This is the first service to commercialize the (medical) MyData business promoted by the government and many companies in 2020. At that time, many of the medical MyData businesses failed to commercialize, but MISBLOC is making every effort to introduce its blockchain MyData business to the public. It aims to develop further in the second quarter and launch an on-chain service for personal medical information in the third quarter. We would like to launch a telemedicine service as early as the third or fourth quarter of this year; early 2023 at the latest. MISBLOC will try to expand the utility of its app through many upgrades. MISBLOC will create a transparent distribution of medical data and personalization of information through continuous upgrades. Based on this, we will create a system that allows users to freely share medical content.

Currently, MISBLOC is affiliated with the largest number of hospitals and clinics in the medical-related blockchain industry. We aim to expand our 60 affiliated hospitals to 1,000 in 2023 and 3,000 in 2024. In order to achieve these goals, we will hold events with our affiliated hospitals where participants can buy and receive expensive treatments at special prices ranging from teeth cleaning to whitening to implants all within MISBLOC’s application ANAPATALK.

Q4: The MISBLOC team is currently entering domestic exchanges. You’ve only been listed on one overseas exchange, Bittrex. Are there any additional plans to be listed on overseas exchanges? Also, what can users do with $MSB tokens and what benefits will you give to holders or buyers?

CEO Kim Dohee: Of course! MISBLOC was successfully listed on Coinone, Bithumb, and the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, Bittrex Global last year. This year, we will consistently strive to be listed on more overseas and domestic exchanges. We will continue to develop our app for commercialization, expand the number of hospitals and clinics across the country that we sign MOUs with, and give users efficient use of personal information through our MyData business.

$MSB tokens are utility tokens. Although they don’t have a very large ecosystem yet, we’d like to provide several services to reward holders. We are planning a staking service to provide interest earnings for long-term holders. At the beginning of the plan, we were going to provide staking services through $MSB wallets that were going to be installed on ANAPATALK. However, we are now in contact with companies that provide professional services to ensure a better user experience.

For the convenience of holders, we are planning a migration from the current ERC-20 to the Klaytn Mainnet. We will announce it soon. We are in contact with the division in charge of Klaytn and KLIP. We would like to develop it so that holding is possible not only with the ANAPATALK in-app wallet service but also in the Klip wallet from KakaoTalk. We are also planning to provide further DeFi services to increase the number of holders and maximize rewards.

Q5: Users are most worried about the security of their personal information. Can you tell us what security systems you have in place to protect $MSB and your users’ privacy?

CEO Kim Dohee: We agree that the personal data security issue of users is a very sensitive and important issue. MISBLOC is preparing a simple online questionnaire service for the first quarter of 2022. No matter which hospital you go to, patients must fill out a questionnaire about their health. They usually must manually fill out information about most general diseases, including heart, brain, and liver disease, diabetes, and allergies. Using our simple online questionnaire service, you won’t have to manually fill out a repetitive questionnaire every time you go to a new hospital. Instead, you can just submit a questionnaire you’ve already filled out on our app. As we’re dealing with sensitive personal medical information, MISBLOC minimizes the probability of personal information leakage using Amazon servers used by most domestic conglomerates, including Naver. In addition, the stored questionnaire’s data will be stored on the blockchain so that any attempts to falsify the data will be fundamentally blocked. As a result, personal medical data will be stored reliably and safely.

Moderator: Okay. Thank you for your candid answers thus far. Now, let’s proceed with five questions from the live chat. CEO Kim Dohee can choose and answer five of the questions that have come in.

CEO Kim Dohee: I was flustered for a moment due to a flood of questions in the chat. We have communicated with community users through AMA three times in the past two weeks, but I think this is the first time we’ve had such an overwhelming response.

Moderator: That just shows how interested everyone is in MISBLOC!

CEO Kim Dohee: I appreciate the enthusiasm. I will do my best to answer new questions rather than ones we’ve already covered.

2nd part: Live Q&A Session

Q1: Bithumb has put an “Investment Warning” on MISBLOC, and we know that the designation has been extended. What will happen in the future?

CEO Kim Dohee: I will choose to answer this difficult question first. I think we have to pick this one to instill comfort and confidence in the holders.

First of all, I would like to apologize to the community for this situation. I understand that a lot of anxiety has grown since the designation of Investment Warning. We have received a lot of inquiries through e-mails sent to our website, and we are answering them one by one. However, we will explain what happened in detail here.

MISBLOC has been carrying out many projects in earnest even before this situation. However, since there were no visible results and the value of $MSB had fallen significantly, Bithumb designated our project as a risky investment. However, we have been working on many projects and we faithfully submitted documents explaining our situation, I think Bithumb will give us their full consideration. We have submitted a plan to Bithumb about how we will increase the number of users on the platform. Additionally, in order to increase the insufficient number of blockchain transactions, we are establishing a system that will receive our online questionnaires and store medical data.

We have also submitted many plans for increasing the value of $MSB. For example, we submitted a plan today for an additional token swap (one of the most popular events for Coinpan) and related events to Bithumb today. We are working hard to show the legitimacy of our business and I think Bithumb will consider it fully. We will continue to work hard in the coming year so our holders will not feel stressed again.

Q2: How can I discuss my health problems with my doctor through the MISBLOC medical platform app ANAPATALK? Is chatting available through the app or is there something similar?

CEO Kim Dohee: We are currently working on three plans. The first is that we have developed a tool to book an appointment at a hospital and fill out online questionnaires before the appointment. This will be released within a month. Currently, there are multiple-choice questions on the app that can inform you of your overall symptoms and health status. After answering these questions, you will be able to clearly communicate your health problems to your doctor in detail.

The second is the telemedicine system planned for the third and fourth quarters of this year. Currently, all countries in the OECD except Korea are actively using telemedicine. In 2020, as many as 20 million telemedicine cases were implemented in the United States through an app called Teladoc. In Korea, COVID-19 has also enabled non-face-to-face treatment systems to be established, also known as telemedicine. Focusing on this, we would like to introduce a telemedicine system that can inform MISBLOC users of their health status. The development of this telemedicine system will begin in the second and third quarters of this year and will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022 or early next year.

The third thing we have planned is yet to be patented. You’ll be able to see it later once the service has been patented and released. MISBLOC currently holds two patents and is in the progress of obtaining eight additional patents. Please understand that we cannot give you detailed information until the patent registration has been completed.

Q3: When I access the ANAPATALK app, I can only see clinics in the dental field. Do you have any plans to expand into other fields?

CEO Kim Dohee: First of all, I’d like to explain why we started in the dental field. Most of the dental collaboration is because I am a dentist, so I understand the dental market well. Additionally, dentistry is a single department field, so I can access the market more easily and efficiently. Finally, dentistry accounts for a very large portion of the medical market, so we decided to work in the dentistry field first. Currently, there are about 35,000 hospitals and clinics nationwide, of which 19,000 are dental clinics. If you go out to the downtown area of your neighborhood, you will see more dental clinics than convenience stores. As such, dentistry accounts for a very high proportion of the medical market, but there has been no application platform representing the dental market until now. So we plan to expand our business throughout the medical field, starting with telemedicine services. Based on the numerous users secured in the dental market, which again is the largest medical market, I think we can safely expand to other fields after establishing ourselves here first.

Q4: The Metaverse is hot recently. Do you have any plans to enter the Metaverse?

CEO Kim Dohee: MISBLOC is currently planning to implement two types of telemedicine: real-time video treatment and metaverse treatment. It is difficult to distinguish yourself from other companies just through telemedicine. However, many fun things can happen if you use the metaverse.

For example, Paycoin stands out among other companies’ coins. Although it is most recognized as a real payment coin, it would be safe to say that it is not actually used. I want $MSB to be used for actual payments to increase its value, but there are some doubts about whether it can actually be used in the real world.

However, I think the metaverse would be different. The world is changing in a direction where the metaverse and NFTs cannot be separated. In other words, token payments in the metaverse will become very convenient. For this purpose, we would like to develop a system that allows $MSB payments in the metaverse. There are many concerns in the present planning stage. At first, the MISBLOC team believed it would be better if we made a metaverse ourselves and provided telemedicine services in our metaverse. However, as time went on, we realized it would be better to cooperate with companies that each have their own specialties and create a treatment system on a well-made metaverse platform. Thus, MISBLOC is currently in contact with several metaverse platform companies that are recognized or may soon be recognized as exceptional companies in the future. We will probably select a metaverse partner company by the end of this year. We will then develop our telemedicine systems for the metaverse. I think we will be able to release the service in 2023 rather than 2022.

Q5: What is MISBLOC’s plan for this year?

CEO Kim Dohee: Many business ideas will be implemented at MISBLOC this year.

As I have already mentioned, we are planning to launch an online questionnaire system. In addition, a system where users can upload their personal X-rays and medical records will be implemented in version 2.2 of our app. All of these records will be converted into medical data using blockchain technology. Rewards will be given to users so that they can be exchanged on the exchange.

Simply think of Upbit’s Humanscape’s Rarenote. An app called Rarenote allows patients with rare diseases to upload their own medical data, receive points, and exchange those points on Upbit, which has the disadvantage of having a very small customer pool. MISBLOC, however, is a medical data provision system that anyone can participate in. Therefore, users will be able to more easily provide their own medical data and receive compensation on MISBLOC due to its large customer base. We have already given away more rewards than you can imagine to early participants. In doing so, we have encouraged a lot of participation from our community, planned many unexpected events, and have already started development on our system. Finally, our vision and plan for this year is to remain one of the pillars of the medical community by raising the number of users on our ANAPATALK app by more than 300,000 and establishing a MyData system using the most popular blockchain. I promise we will work hard in the coming year and beyond.

Moderator: Thank you for your detailed answers. Lastly, is there anything else you want to say to the Dynasty community?

CEO Kim Dohee: First of all, I would like to thank the Dynasty manager for providing an opportunity for us to inform so many people about the MISBLOC project. Thanks also to the users who participated in this AMA so late at night.

To briefly reiterate MISBLOC’s current progress, we are aiming to release the upgraded ANAPATALK 2.1 in the first quarter. With additional support from the Klaytn Mainnet, we will provide DeFi functions by applying a DeFi system such as Klayswap. We also plan to install our own wallet into the ANAPATALK app so that the users can tokenize, store, and manage the points they received in return for sharing information in the community, such as hospital reviews.

MISBLOC’s official community exists in our Kakao Open Chat Room. Join us there to talk about MISBLOC’s future and to get updates.
