MISBLOC Platform #2
A second introductory post about the MISBLOC Platform
MISBLOC (Medical Information Service with Blockchain) is a medical service ecosystem which is based on blockchain technology. MISBLOC offers a sustainable and efficient medical service ecosystem by providing reliable medical information to patients, medical institutions, and public institutions in the Big Data era.
Hi there! In today’s post, we will continue learning about the MISBLOC platform, which includes features such as medical data generation, medical data utilization, and others. The second functionality to be observed in this post is the medical data usage process. The functionality of MISBLOC is implemented in ANAPATALK, which is the main native application of MISBLOC. The ANAPATALK app consists of three steps: the generation of medical data, utilization of the generated medical data, and provision of additional services.
Medical Data Usage
Patients can submit their medical records to various third-party institutions, medical institutions, and insurance companies via email using the ANAPATALK platform. This, in turn, enables medical institutions to practice telemedicine, counsel, and write prescriptions to establish a telehealth system. ANAPATALK is an essential function for the establishment of a global medical service platform.
Electronic Record Submission
In the existing medical record paper method, patients lose ownership upon submission. However, the patients’ medical data stored in the app does not disappear with a single submission. This enables permanent and continuous use of medical records. For example, in the past, if a patient wanted to issue an X-ray record, it was stored on a Compact Disc, which was issued for KRW 20,000 per disc. This was an inconvenient and expensive process for patients. However, patients participating in the ANAPATALK ecosystem can avoid these burdensome steps, such as ordering CDs at medical institutions, simply by paying MSB Tokens as a fee and downloading their X-ray records through the app. In addition, patients can easily send their medical records to other medical institutions. They can choose which medical institutions to send their information to and which information they would like to send.
Telemedicine Support
Generally, MISBLOC plans to implement a telemedicine system and enable the further implementation of telemedicine, counseling, and prescription services in the future. This system is going to be an essential pillar to be able to tap into the global medical service market. In this remote counseling system, medical staff will be motivated to provide their services because they will receive tokens as compensation for providing counseling. The frequency with which hospital and clinic information is promoted in the application will be increased in proportion to the degree to which a particular hospital participates in remote counseling. Hospitals and clinics will have effective promotion channels, and patients will be able to access the services provided by medical staff more easily. This will contribute to an integrated solution that meets both of their needs.
Using MyData, patients can organize their own healthcare schedule and receive push notifications to remind them when it’s time to get their regular checkups. Additionally, patients can configure their settings and set personal areas of interest. Then, new healthcare information will be provided in mobile applications according to simple artificial intelligence algorithms, and local hospitals and clinics that perform such care will be recommended.
Medical Information Community
Plastic surgery is one of the most popular areas in the Korean medical community. The majority of community members are women in their 20s and 30s who are interested in beauty and healthcare. Patients can easily find a hospital that provides the treatments they want through mobile applications. In addition, the patient-centered community on mobile apps is very active, allowing patients to easily exchange numerous questions and access desired information such as photos of before and after treatment.
ANAPATALK is used to form a mobile device community where users can upload photos of before and after treatment. The original poster will be rewarded with tokens as the number of views increases or as more comments are posted. On top of that, the community uses guidelines, illustrations, and images of the entire treatment process so that curious users can understand exactly what the treatment entails. It also creates a professional community in which doctors can participate to meet the needs of their patients.
Being able to communicate with other patients is fun for users. This induces them to spend more time on the app and gives them easy access to hospitals specializing in plastic surgery. Letting users have access to a community and their electronic charts in one place while at the same time providing remote counseling will be very beneficial for users. In addition, the active community will serve as a foundation to keep the token ecosystem running smoothly.
