You may have seen the recent Los Angeles Times article where Arturo Carmona has “categorically denied” any accusations of sexism or fiscal mismanagement brought forth by former Bernie Sanders campaign staffers. It’s interesting to note that the original article did not quote the victims once, just the men from Carmona’s campaign. The article has since been edited after a critical response to the omission.

Carmona’s campaign manager, Javier Gonzalez, glaringly demonstrates in the interview that he still doesn’t quite grasp the concept of why dismissive sexism is an issue, and tells women the proper way to report sexual harassment is to “…deal with it in a friendly fashion, and do it with honey.” (In the midst of this sagely advice, he also admits he knew about everything.)

We thought it would be useful to compile the posts from all of the women (and now men) who have spoken out publicly about his mistreatment and mismanagement, so their voices can be acknowledged. We have also included some other pieces that corroborate their accusations.

Additionally, we want to note an article that has surfaced from 2008 where Carmona, then Executive Director of the Council of Mexican Federations (COFEM), a migrant workers union, was accused of “anomalies and irregularities in the administration of the council and its funding.” After the investigation he was asked to resign, and arrested for the fraud case.
