A great experience

All men have one thing in common,
though it be a secret
from (and for) most;
but think of what sleep summoned,
and it is no secret —
How often have you dreamed
of coins scattered all around,
to be picked up at leisure?
And did you not pick,
in haste, great haste,
cramming your pockets,
filling your hands,
exceeding your needs,
burning with greed,
laughing, crying,
glad, sad,
frantic
and hopelessly mad?
And did you not hide it
under your pillow?
