I played the instrument
That awoke her spirit
I made the sound that gave her strength
I spoke the words she’s been longing to hear
The words she’s never heard
The words she wish were said to her
Awakening her heart
That had been asleep forever
Her heart that had been frozen
Out in the cold
Feeling no warmth
Beating in its last days
But was revived
By simple words
Words telling her importance
Words saying she deserves to be loved.
