Mention teammates and more ways to launch from Slack
The latest updates from the Missions.ai — Messaging based workflows for Slack
A few weeks ago we announced a bundle of improvements to Missions. Today we’re happy to pile on a few more. With these changes, we’ve made it easy to mention teammates in your workflows, and we’ve made it easier to share and launch Missions in Slack.
Pick People 🙆
The dynamic data and emoji pickers were lonely so we added a new people picker when authoring messages.
Launch Improvements
It’s even easier to launch Missions from within Slack now. Oh let’s count the ways! 1️⃣ 2️⃣ 3️⃣ 4️⃣
1️⃣ Your Missions via /missions
Launch any Mission you are a collaborator of via the updated /missions slash command. Type to filter if there’s bountiful amount 👌.
2️⃣ From specific channels
Install a Mission in a specific channel and find them under “This Channel” from /missions:
Or make a button “persistent” and the button message will bump to the bottom of the channel. So you can tell your mates to “go to #help-office-supplies channel to request office supplies,” and it will be obvious what you mean 😘.
3️⃣ To everyone from anywhere
Some workflows should be available from anywhere, so for those important Missions, make them available from any channel and find them under “Team Missions.”
4️⃣ Sharing is caring
Easily share a link to a Mission in a message, and we’ll add a launch button automatically 👭.
