Major Update : New Look, Daily Play and Contests
Please note that this article dates from 2019. We make regular updates and improvements to Mistplay, and while we do our best to keep our blog posts in sync, we recognize that there may be occasional inaccuracies. We’re excited to announce some big changes coming soon to the Mistplay app, including two awesome new features.
Navigation Bar
The Navigation bar has been moved to the bottom of the screen, and the “More” page has been nested within the Profile tab.
New Features & Top Bar
The top of the screen will now display four new tabs: Daily Play, Badges, Contests, and Units.
Daily Play
You will now be able to accumulate bonus Units through “Daily Play” streaks. Your Daily Play streak is a measure of how consistently you play games on Mistplay. Your streak will start at zero and increase by one for every day you play a Mistplay game for 5 minutes or more. If you don’t play for a day, the streak will reset to zero. Make sure you play every day, since the longer your Daily Play streak becomes, the greater your daily bonuses will be!
Badges
Rather than check each game’s details page to see what badges you’ve unlocked, you will now be able to visit the new dedicated Badge tab in the Top Bar to see all your badges in one central location.
Contests
We’re excited to introduce contests as one more way for players to earn rewards. Contests will be held on a frequent basis, offering you a chance to earn epic prizes. If you join a contest and meet all of the entry requirements, you will be entered for a chance to win the Grand prize, which can include large unit bonuses, gift cards, and more! Make sure to check the contest tab in the Top Bar frequently, and enter as many as you can.
Units
The Units tab will appear in the Top Bar and will show you your recent Units history. You can also view your full Units history which lists all Units you’ve previously earned or spent. The icon for Units is also getting a redesign, rather than green dots on a black background the symbol for units will now be a green gem.
Bonus Page
A new “Bonus” section has been added to the navigation bar, where you’ll find the many options to earn bonus Units. For example, you can earn bonus Units by inviting friends to Mistplay, following us on social media, completing Daily Play streaks, and joining Contests.
