#Growth Culture in a #MobileFirst World

Real Growth is NOT just numbers:

The only metric that defines #RealGrowth is the User Experience. This is the keystone to ensure that the growth is sustainable not just scalable. Unfortunately, growth has been notoriously reduced to numbers. Creating a culture for #RealGrowth requires keeping the user at the centre & team members at the rim of the wheel.

How, then, is a #GrowthMindset to be developed in a #MobileFirst organisation with many moving parts scattered around the globe?

However upbeat & exciting “Growth” sounds, scaling up on day to day basis is mostly managing failure. Setbacks & Comebacks are main events that define the culture of growth in a #MobileFirst organisation. This makes “Failure Report more Important than Annual Goal”. A culture which is comfortable with being uncomfortable facilitates swift collaboration & mutual learning culture.

Members at the rim of the wheel, collaborate with others in the language of ‘Data’. Data is the most valuable language one can speak today. ‘Data’ is crude, really doesn’t connect all members to create a culture. Inculcating to till the data to create actionable insight & stories that transport the team to live in customer world, is like the bonfire around which the members discuss & connect.

Beta is the New “Alpha”. In a world without boundary, creation happens at speed of thought. Agility to learn & move on from failure ensures that speed is the core competitive advantage an organisation can have in a #MobileFirst World. In fact, past success can be a baggage that slows you down.

#DigitalMindset

However ludicrous it may sound but #RealGrowth culture is never about technology. #DigitalMindset, that rethinks the way the users carry out their day to day life, is at the core of #RealGrowth. A team that lives in their customer world & across the world requiresmore emotional connect & empathy than the traditional organisations.

#NeverAssume

The Achilles heel of Growth Culture in a #MobileFirst world is “ASSUMPTION”. It breeds complacency basking in past success, hampers collaboration & slows down the pace of organisation’s ability to realise its vision.
