Machine mixing and spreading is one of the most widely used adhesive application methods as it allows for applying a thin layer of fast curing adhesive over a large surface in a short time. In addition spreading of fast curing adhesive allows short pressing time of sandwich panel. - Roller application
When applying adhesives by a roller, rolling application allows manual applying a thin layer of adhesive over a large surface in a short time. - Notched trowel application
The advantage of notched trowel applications is that it enables adhesive application also to uneven surfaces. It is one of the basic manual methods. One should also remember that only slow curing adhesives are appropriate for use with a notched trowel. Besides, the cleaning of the trowel is very simple.
