I’ve heard that on more occasions than I care to recount. And although I’ve had my ear to the tech landscape for 6 years, I only recently understood the implications of that statement: If developers are people who like to build, they are most certainly individuals who want to bring their own ideas to life.
Whether it’s the first games on a hand-held console from the 90s, the first internet browsers that gave people unprecedented power in the 2000s, or even the first wave of apps that only recently washed over our phones and changed lives forever; somewhere, a developer sat at a desk, making things — tangible things — happen.
