Jeffrey Wernick, famous investor with early holdings of Uber and Airbnb, early investor, avid believer and evangelist of Bitcoin, angel investor focuses mostly on sharing economy, the blockchain and biomedical startups, graduate and postgraduate from University of Chicago, majoring in economics and finance, and studied under various Nobel laureates, successful entrepreneur and seasoned private investor in various asset classes, advisor to a number of selected blockchain projects. Jeffrey Wernick began trading options and future while a student at the University of Chicago before moving on Salomon Brothers and the National Bank of Detroit, where he was its youngest senior officer. He then founded a technology-focused venture capital firm and hedge fund to help distressed and bankrupt companies. Jeffrey founded, then sold the risk management firm AVI Portfolio Service Company, Inc. before focusing on his private investment portfolio. In 2009, he tapped Bitcoin and had made an investment. Ever since, he has been successful in betting in favor of startups and cryptocurrencies, and is highly experienced with investing in distressed and bankrupt companies, as well as in other domestic and international investment opportunities, including seed capital, angel investing, venture capital, real estate, currencies, commodities, mining, all forms of derivatives and structured financial products, sharing economy, leading platforms, Bitcoin, blockchain, biomedical, human genome project and payment systems.

Since Oct. 2017, Jeffrey Wernick has served on the advisory board of Qtum, a global project that aims to the bridge between the Bitcoin and Ethereum communities, the real world and blockchain world. He has been a member of the board of DataWallet, a digital wallet for online data that allows users take their data from platforms such as Facebook, Amazon, Uber, Spotify and unify it in one place, since June 2018.

Jeffry is one of the most successful investors of Bitcoin, and he insists on the ability to solve the biggest problems with fiat money.
