How to get the most out of Mixin Messenger Wallet
Over 100 million transactions of Mixin Network have been completed since it’s official released at the end of Sep, showing that this comprehensive transaction network has gained praise far and wide. Following is the step-by-step tutorial guiding both newbies and experienced users how to get the most out of Mixin Messenger wallet.
After sign-up and logged in Mixin Messenger, click the wallet icon at the top-left corner of the interface, you enter into Mixin Messenger wallet.
Your asset will be shown at the upper part of the interface, while all cryptocurrencies Mixin Messenger supports with real-time market info that is linked to CoinMarketCap are presented in the lower part.
Deposit
Currently, Mixin Messenger supports 13 main chains and over 40,000 tokens, and it’s quick and painless to deposit tokens with Mixin Messenger
Just click on the related main chain on which the token you need to deposit belongs to and click Deposit, then, deposit your token to the address right below the QR code showing on the next screen. By doing so, your token will be transferred from exchanges or other wallets you use soon. ERC-20 tokens can send to ETH address.
Transfer
Transferring coins with Mixin Network is simple, quick and totally free. Choose the contact you want to transfer your digital asset to, click the application management icon next to the textbox to unfold all the applications. Choose Transfer among the options, then choose the token and input the amount you want to transfer to. To make the transfer clearer, you can leave a memo for it.
Withdraw
Click the token you want to withdraw from the main blockchain and token list at the lower part of the main interface of Mixin Messenger, detailed info about this token including the remaining balance and transaction records will be shown in the following interface. Click the three-point icon at the top-right corner of the interface and choose Withdrawal from the options.
Tap to add address or choose the address you want to withdraw your token to from your token address book and input the amount, then click Next. The withdraw is finished by then.
Note: if you have multiple address, you can add them all in Mixin Messenger. By doing so, there is no need for you to enter your address again when withdraw next time. You can simply choose it from your address book.
Others: All Transactions, Hidden assets, Wallet Setting
On the main interface of Mixin Messenger wallet, right at the left-corner of the interface, there will a three-point icon. Click it, you can see All Transaction, Hidden assets and Wallet Settings.
All Transactions: detailed info about all transactions completed in Mixin Messenger, including transaction ID, type, date, asset type, memo, etc. You can also check your transaction details with transaction ID in Mixin Network explorer.
Hidden assets: the tokens you hide to not show on the main interface. Just choose the token and click Hide asset at the top-right corner.
Wallet Setting: enable users to verify account for transaction with Face ID if the phone is iPhone X or above; to verify PIN code for the security of assets with a certain interval; and to change the PIN code. Notice that when changing PIN code, you need to input your previous PIN code to verify your account. So, it’s necessary for you to remember your PIN code.
