Quick Guide for Beginners Using Mixin Messenger
Follow this simple guide to quickly get in Mixin Messenger.
Step 1: Download and Install Mixin Messenger
Download Mixin Messenger from either Google Play Store or App Store. Also, you can get it from CoinMarketCap. After then, finish the installation following the wizard.
Note: Mixin Messenger is compatible with both iOS and Android, and it requires iOS 10.0+ or Android 6.0+, so first of all, please check and update to ensure your system is qualified.
Step 2: Sign up
Launch Mixin Messenger, click Agree & Terms of service, then you are presented with the sign-up interface. Just choose the right country and input your phone number and the 4-digit verification code you received following, the sign up process is finished by then, and you are logged in.
You will be asked for setting your 6-digit wallet pin code and repeating inputting the pin code three times, just do it. After then, the initialization is done, and you enter into the main interface.
Just a kind reminder: it’s necessary for you to remember your pin code as there is no way to find it back if you lose it. When you intend to change your wallet pin, you need to input the previous one to verify the account.
Step 3: Build your own Mixin Messenger
Click the contact icon at the top right corner of the main interface, there will be a Mixin ID for you exclusively.
You can see and edit your profile, including uploading your profile photo, changing the username or phone number. Notice that your request will not be processed if the new number is used by someone else.
You can add contacts by inputting their registered phone numbers/Mixin IDs, scanning the their QR codes, or simply importing your local contacts in.
You can also create groups to chat, transfer or distribute tokens. When chatting with friends or in groups, you can send audio, pics, emoji, files in addition to text.
Step 4: Join the Group for More Assistance
Mixin English: Mixin ID: 7000101502, deep interaction for global users.
Tap Send Messages and then Confirm after adding Mixin English, then you’ve enter into this group. You may be lucky to receive the distributed token from this group with the lucky coin feature integrated in. Stay tuned for more specials in this group.
Step 5: Send lucky coin to the group
To send lucky icon to other members, just click the bot icon at the left of the application management icon to unfold all the options of Mixin English -> click Send lucky coin -> choose the token, amount and number of receiving members -> leave the memo or blessing message -> click Pay lucky icon -> verify your account by your fingerprint or Face ID, after then, you successfully send the lucky icon. And you will be clear about winners of this round of lucky coin.
