The guidebook of Mixin Messenger
Mixin Network is a distributed cross-chain solution with built-in smart contracts that facilitates instantly and secure cryptocurrency and crypto-asset transfer. Mixin Messenger is the first Dapp based on Mixin Network, and it could help users to access their cryptocurrency and crypto assets, it has supported BTC, ETH, SC, Ripple and it will support more popular blockchains. There’re more than 1800 Bots run on Mixin and the developer community grows up to 150 people and more.
Part 1: Preperation
Mixin is compatible with iOS and Android systems, and it requires iOS 10.0+ or Android 6.0+, so please check your system version first.
Part 2: Download & Installation

Part 3: Sign up
It’s simple to sign up for Mixin Messenger, type your phone number and the received 4 digit code, then you could enter blockchain world. The design is very clean, a blank homepage with 2 icons on the top: left is a wallet, right is the contact.
Part 4: Wallet
Tap the wallet icon you’ll find all your crypto assets, it shows the real-time price (linked to CoinMarketCap.com). For someone who wants to hide their asset, please click the 3-points at top left corner, and you could also change the PIN code there.
Attention: you MUST remember the PIN code, cause there’s no way to find it back if you forget it. This is why you need to verify the PIN 5 times when you set it the first time, and it requires you to enter the PIN every 24 hours.
Part 5: Contact
You could search friend by telephone number or Mixin ID, and you could upload all your contacts to find who’re using Mixin Messenger. On this page, there’re 2 tabs under personal info, Receive Money and My QR Code. Receive Money is a QR code, other Mixin user scan that code could transfer cryptocurrency instantly. My QR Code simplify the step for adding friend face-to-face.
