Actually, MIXONIUM™ isn’t an atomic element, but it does exhibit utterly unique properties in high performance information environments — with 7 covalent content compartments and <tags> for bonding into gallery-molecules, the new platform is durable and multi-use indeed -

Livermore, California, 2021 — Over the last year we have had the honor of helping one of our top National Laboratories curate cutting-edge information and reports for publication on the MIXONIUM™ platform. The result is a dawn of a new age for informatics where file types and APIs are conveniently packaged into responsive posts for use across the digital-mobile universe.

When Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories began a re-evaluation of how they publish and manage complex technical information, they quickly identified MIXONIUM™ Ultra Media as the future-proof solution to their needs. In the case of LLNL, as they are known in National Security circles, the key was being able to dashboard deep, scientific and engineering information in the form of PDFs, but then to also be able to associate rich media from test environments, or just video explanations from authors and experts.

Some of the content included 3D objects, and some the results of complex simulations and modeling tests. Then, using the unique tagging functionality of the MIXONIUM™ platform, they could create multiple relational galleries so that various audiences could see content that was curated just for them. The National Lab services multiple areas of the U.S. national security enterprise, from the Department of Energy, to the Department of Homeland Security, and in the Department of Defense. Most importantly, the publication they created was intended to inform the highest performance Special Operations Force on the planet — USSOCOM.

Modern scientists and engineers need access to not just tons of information, but they need structured, actionable, and mobile information. With MIXONIUM™, the team publishing the 2020 Strategic Latency report were able to include all the white papers of the top scientists in the country, while also including videos, audio files, 3D models of simulations, and links to additional resources.

“How do we understand the complex, multi-domain, operational environment? Old tools like books and briefings cannot capture the dynamic nature of the modern science and technology theater of operations. As a platform for informatics and knowledge management, MIXONIUM™ is exactly what we need to communicate complex ideas with a diverse, adaptive, and globally distributed national security enterprise.”

— Zachary Davis, PhD, Senior Fellow, Center for Global Security Research, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

Innovation is at the heart of the Strategic Latency publication, with an emphasis on new ideas, emerging technologies, and roadmaps that will define our future world. So it is only appropriate that the vehicle for publishing this critical national security information would be an innovation as well. MIXONIUM™ is a patented new content management platform with enterprise solutions and scalable infrastructure for uses of all sizes.

In the above post, Lt. Col. Jen “JJ” Snow used a virtual avatar of herself to introduce several grand questions about the emerging concepts of community, nationality, and shared identity as mobile-digital technologies move to the center of lifestyles. The MIX has her 20-page white paper in cell 2, with supporting information and media to complete an insightful analysis of trends.

Blank MIX — What will you Publish?

With the simplified, interoperable and modular nature of the format, a MIX can network to APIs of all sorts, enabling AI, Machine Learning, and Live Data integrations, all juxtaposed with briefing and reference materials. And yes, enterprise users have access to unique analytics that reveal use patterns to help optimize publishing outcomes. That’s why we call it Ultra Media — the new informatics era has arrived.

Overall, the Strategic Latency 2020 publication will be used by the U.S. National Security enterprise to plan new systems and concepts, and MIXONIUM™ is proud to be helping top minds perform at their best.
