Sometimes it’s hard to find motivation for your projects — or in general your work and your personal life.
For myself, I noticed after my exams and work I had to do a feeling of freedom but also confusion. I was relaxed and had finally the time to focus more on my health. Doing some sport and eating good food felt great.
However, I wanted to create something - build something on my own. I had these ambitions to get out of my comfort zone and create, but I had no plan, no written goals.
“Without a goal, you can’t score” — Casey Neistat
Sometimes that is okay, you cannot always have a whole plan figured out. I said to myself this is okay, I need some time for myself and find my focus. After a little break, relaxing and doing things needed to be done in the household and sorting my documents — After cleaning my mind & my house — I enjoyed this time for myself. I was finally ready to create — I made plans, wrote it down in my journal, and was ready to go out and do things I wasn’t ready before and are out of my comfort zone (like writing articles in English).
So if you feel plan-less at some point in your life. Is a symbol for you to get some rest, some time for yourself — clean up your mind and your environment — and write down what you want in the future and the things you need to do right now to achieve these goals.
- Relax (have some time to clean up your mind & environment)
- Write down what you want in life & how to achieve this in the present
- Get out of your comfort zone — have your goals in mind
