Jab kabhi tum jannat ke logon ko yaad karo to kehna mujhe dar hai ke main in logon ke saath na jaa paun. Aur jab tum dozakh ke logon ka zikar karo to kehna mjhe umeed hai main in logon ke saath nahi jaun ga. Is tarah ap ko umeed bhi rahegi aur aap khofzada bhi rahein gy. Aap ko na zyada khushi hogi aur na us zaat se mayoos hon gy.

Translation:

Whenever you remember the people of Paradise, say, I am afraid that I will not be able to go with them. And when you mention the people of Hell, say, I hope, I will not go with them. You will have fear but you will also be optimistic. You will not be too happy and neither disappointed from the god.

-Hazrat Abu Bakr (R.A)

This quote is by the most inspiring and influential human who was among the best persons to live on earth i.e the companions of Prophet (S.A.W.W).

I feel like this quote can help us alot in abandoning the sins. It gives you a way to remain pious and yet stay away from pride. Something all humans( muslim or non muslim) should strive to achieve.

Because as humans if we become too good in any way we look down upon others and that is something no religion in the world tells you to do. So be humble always.
