We are seeing a growing demand for qualified and experienced blockchain developers. As part of MLG’s committed growth to education, we partnered with the Kerala Blockchain Academy to create a global blockchain developer program.

The Kerala Blockchain Academy is a new-age training and certification facility for working adults and crypto enthusiasts alike. Their goal is to help create high quality professionals so that they can leverage blockchain technology for public good. The Academy offers various courses such as Business and Blockchain, Ethereum development, Blockchain Architecture and Hyperledger developer. Along with the courses, the Academy also provides technical meetups, workshops and conferences, industrial partnerships and consulting, blockchain and governance, along with IP generation and entrepreneurship.

Kerala Blockchain Academy has a wide variety of accomplishments achieved by some of their students. Notably, the NITI Aayog Prize in the inaugural Proffer Hackathon. Many students that graduated from the Acadamy now write for prestigious news agencies, including India today, Business line, IGI Global, Destination Kerala, and The Blockchain Elite.

In October, our CEO, Michael Gord, & our Director of Technology, Jeff Holek, flew out to Trivandrum where the IITMK (Academy) is located to help bootstrap the start of the blockchain courses.

While there, our team created long lasting ties with KBA, the instructors and of course, the students. They also spent time providing content and training for the Certified Blockchain Associate and Certified Blockchain Developer Program.

We aim to create a global ecosystem of blockchain developers and that’s why the Kerala Blockchain Academy plans to train thousands of developers in blockchain technologies with these courses. Trained developers will then join our international network so that they can continue to share best practices, participate in events and hackathons as well as collaborate on projects.

We are very thankful to be part of this educational initiative. Congratulations to all of the current and future graduates studying in KBA. And of course, welcome to the industry!
