Here’s Why You Should Become an MLG Ambassador

Are you passionate about spreading good ideas? Do you have a strong social network? Are you a lover of information, research and community? If so, you could be a strong candidate for MLG’s Ambassador Program.

MLG Blockchain is a rapidly expanding organization currently offering positions for the right people. With no fuss, tons of support, training and access to company resources we can help develop you into a bona fide MLG Blockchain Consulting team member. Zero programming experience is required.

In his book ‘The Tipping Point’, Malcolm Gladwell discusses the spread of information. He tells how ideas transmit like viruses. “The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or behaviour crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire.” As an ambassador for MLG Blockchain, you can gear yourself up to be part of an imminent tipping point of our nascent blockchain technology– it is currently experiencing moments of contagion that are widely predicted to disrupt an unthinkable amount of industries, jobs and lives globally. Blockchain is poised to sweep through many sectors, changing the way we process information, do business and identify ourselves. Its many creative uses put it on track to be a silver bullet for problems from online entertainment to world hunger.

Why work with MLG Blockchain?

We are an expert blockchain consulting and development firm headquartered in Toronto with a distributed team across North America, Europe and Asia and we’re focused on building next generation applications using blockchain and smart contract technology. Becoming an ambassador will kickstart you into our three-stage process where you’ll have the chance to market inspiring information and rack up invaluable knowledge in the process. You will begin as an ambassador, receiving tokens in return for completing tasks.

Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs)

ICO’s, or Initial Coin Offerings are financial instruments that are similar to market shares. The ambassador stage is to prove your worth. Once you’ve submitted your value to the company you will become an ‘evangelist’, and finally an ‘insider’.

Executives and entrepreneurs in many industries are starting to grow awareness of the diverse uses blockchain and its employment can provide for a competitive edge in business. In the IT science of blockchain lays the power to spawn whole new businesses from within company operations (HBR). In the face of such rapid change, however, people in powerful positions across these sectors don’t know where to begin. This is where sourcing tech consulting and smart solutions by people in the know come into play.

On the other side of this coin are the blockchain-based tech companies who believe, if wielded correctly, many industries including law, finance and entertainment will be blockchain’s destined avenues for technological transformation.

MLG Blockchain is an intermediary between these two worlds, the industry leaders and the tech developers.

When I started working for MLG Blockchain, I knew little about blockchain besides its foundational role in Bitcoin, a now-major cryptocurrency. I found out about it in a vice article and I’ve never considered myself a ‘techie’. Yet in my short time working for the company I’ve soaked up a wealth of information and been blown away in the process of researching my articles. I’ve learned how some of the possible implementations of blockchain truly can shake up billions of lives with the right support behind them. This is why I’m earnestly fulfilled working as an ambassador for MLG.

Lala World

One company I wrote about called LaLa World offers a crypto-wallet and a special ecosystem of support for undocumented migrants and the unbanked. Over 2 billion people don’t have bank accounts which bars them from financial inclusion into the world economy. By securing banking through blockchain, it’s thought that $380 billion in revenue could be generated by 2020. Without government-verifiable documents and banking, citizens have long been denied access to a range of basic human rights and social services like education and health care. Short term solutions exist for those acutely in need as well — money can be sent directly into the pockets of refugees via unforgeable electronic relief vouchers. With blockchain we can say goodbye to the days of NGO donations and relief efforts funding kingdoms and despots rather than their intended recipients. Refugees have historically been precluded from jobs beyond illegal, exploitative labor rackets but with technology-executed ‘smart contracts’, government-backed visas and payment distributed through a digital public ledger, asylum-seekers can secure proper jobs. By accessing documents on the blockchain, small businesses and budding entrepreneurs will receive the funding they need for the first time.

Tron

Another company MLG Blockchain works with is called ‘Tron’. Tron is an entertainment system that seeks to transform artists’ lives and the way we interface with online media. With blockchain and the ‘centralized’ middlemen removed — think corporate hosting giants like YouTube and Spotify that absorb the majority of ad revenue — Tron will ensure content creators are paid a fair wage. As it stands, a signed, solo YouTuber working alone to write, produce, edit and find non-copyrighted music for their videos needs about 4.2 million hits a month to earn the U.S. minimum wage. Why should a full-time artist or entertainer reaching an audience of millions need to supplement their income?

The philosophy behind Tron makes us pause and consider a serious problem: Of the multitude of online networks regular people are part of like Facebook, YouTube, etc., the network’s value is generated by users, which translates into billions in revenue for the company. Yet only a minute fraction of this content-monetization goes to users responsible for breathing life into the network. Some other realms Tron can radically improve with blockchain’s transparent, public coding include gaming, gambling and the music industry as a whole.

Working with MLG Blockchain is a good step towards a decentralized internet and a democratized digital marketplace. Corporations have been entrusted with too much of our online data for too long, and we can see this in moments like Equifax’s goof earlier this year or the 2013 breach that saw 3 billion Yahoo accounts hacked. Hosting companies spend hundreds of millions a year on cybersecurity but blockchain can abolish these costs by replacing big servers with thousands of interconnected, “unhackable” nodes. Our online world should not be controlled by corporations.

The birth of the internet has already globalized us in a way we never saw coming. Now, there is an opportunity to work together, to go beyond ‘connecting’ over the computer screen and change the lives of however many millions or billions may be reached. There can never be enough people marching for the right cause.
