According to MMA journalist Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, the UFC’s first event of the year in Saudi Arabia will be postponed until June.

The event was set to take place on March 2nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The card was expected to be a Fight Night Event, but according to Helwani, Saudi Arabia were looking for a more high-profile, stacked card than was previously offered. It’s unclear as of yet whether this event will now take place at a different date or whether it will simply be switched to a new location.

Prior to its alleged postponement, this was the expected line-up for the Saudi Arabia Fight Night event:

Mohammad Mokaev vs. Alex Perez

Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Shamil Gaziev

Eryk Anders vs. Jamie Pickett

Joel Alvarez vs. Ludovit Klein

Javid Basharat vs. Aiemann Zahabi

Yanis Ghemmouri vs. Vinicius Oliveira

Brendon Marotte vs. Mohammad Yahya

Abdul-Kerim Al-Selwady vs. Loik Radzhabov
