The obsession was growing, and there was no turning back.

The following week, Ginny arrived for another lesson. By that time, I’d had several thoughts about how to keep myself in check and planned to put them into action. That was, of course, until I saw her!

The sun was beating down on the court, making the air shimmer. My shirt stuck to my back, and Ginny’s skin glistened with perspiration. Her movements were fluid, natural. Every stroke of the racket, every pivot and sprint, was a cliché — watching poetry in motion.

I tried to stick to my resolution — professional at all costs and keep my eyes on the ball or on her tennis form, not her breasts, but my gaze wandered to the curve of her neck and the way her hair stuck to her temples. She laughed, and it sounded like the happiest sound I’d ever heard.

She asked if I had space for two lessons a week.

“Yeah sure, Ginny. If that’s what you’d like.” Hardly able to believe my luck that I would get to see her more.
