MOAC is holding a ‘MOAC Developer’s Activity’ on the 14th of July. MOAC development engineers will elaborate on microchain deployment and officially publish the IPFS system. This storage model will officially enter the age of distributed storage.

The beta test of MOAC’s microchains officially launched on June 30, truly propelling blockchain technology into the age of large-scale commercial application. This also promotes further blockchain technology development to help the real-world economy. MOAC has developed an IPFS microchain called FileStorm. Files stored on FileStorm are connected to the IPFS network, this opens up limitless possibilities for the future of cross-platform storage. What is FileStorm?

Answer :

Filestorm is MOAC’s IPFS distributed file storage. IPFS is an important protocol for decentralized node storage with the goal of replacing the traditional network protocol HTTP, making the internet faster, safer and more open.

First, FileStorm solves the big problems with HTTP protocol:

1. HTTP is super centralized, meaning that it’s not secure. Its data can be monitored, copied, or even falsified.

2. The storage costs for HTTP are very high, and it’s difficult to store data for long periods of time.

3. If anything happens to the server storing the data, the data could potentially be lost forever, with no way of getting it back.

4. Server broadband is limited and expensive, causing the network to be jammed during periods of high traffic.
