Australian Tax Office (ATO) has opened a public discussion on its website collecting feedback from taxpayers regarding new tax issues. The process was initiated by the change of tax guidelines regarding cryptocurrency transactions, that caused many public concerns and increased number of complains to the website support network.

People are encouraged to leave messages explaining the difficulties they have while submitting their tax records. Government is especially interested if this could prevent taxpayers from correctly calculating their income statements and capital gains taxes (CGT) for cryptocurrencies in a new format.
