2021 Roadmap Update

Overview

It’s been a busy quarter here at Mobie but we are already looking ahead to the back half of the year with excitement for what’s on the horizon.

Over these past few months, we have been hard at work to meet our Q1 goals: chief among them; getting ready for the launch of our web and mobile app for consumers and businesses.

In addition to these goals, we have also committed to launching our Stellar <> Ethereum bridge to promote access to improved liquidity via the Ethereum network, and a listing on Uniswap to kick off our foray into the Ethereum ecosystem and DeFi landscape.

With so much happening during these next few weeks, it’s hard to even imagine what Q2, Q3, and Q4 will look like. Today we are laying out a few of the plans we have for the coming quarters to give you a better sense of some of the initiatives we are working on.

Private Beta Update

With the private beta launch of our consumer and business apps coming in these next few weeks, we are taking a moment to elaborate and define more clearly what we aim to include in those launches and how you can qualify for the private beta. The Private launch will be accessible at first to consumers in the United States who qualify for end-to-end use case functionality within the app and are existing members of the community.

As we begin to add in retail partners to the app, your geolocation (country) will continue to be a deciding factor in your final approval on the waitlist, as we need to ensure that you will be able to have a full-cycle use case within the app as we launch our beta testing.

You will also have the option to refer additional people to our waitlist to boost your place in line. When joining the waitlist you will be prompted to store and save your sharable referral link that can be utilized via social, email, text message, etc. The more people you refer to the ecosystem, the faster you will move up in line; it’s as simple as that.

Feedback from our community and, specifically from participating community members who receive access to the application during the private beta is going to be a key factor in obtaining and maintaining access.

For example, if you have received access to the beta app and do not use the app (ie. your account remains unfunded and unused 14 days after being created) or provide any feedback to the team, Mobie reserves the right to close your account and bring another member of the community into the beta from the waitlist.

This is designed to ensure that we have the most active community of users in the app from the launch when community feedback is so important.
